Overview
Perform an entry level engineering role in the design or construction aspects of engineering projects and assists other departmental engineers.
Responsibilities
  • Perform design activities requiring a basic understanding of drawings, calculations, specifications, and industry standards and practices covering the assigned work.
  • Shall have a basic knowledge of the theory, practices, and procedures pertaining to engineering matters in one or more of the following areas:
  • Electrical Engineering.
  • Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, calculations, cost estimates, specifications, evaluations, and requisitions.
  • Develop professional work knowledge and abilities in one or more of the following areas:
  1. Substation Design.
  2. Electrical Control Systems.
  3. Protective Relaying.
  • Develop knowledge of the Company-s design, construction, QA/QC, and safety standards and the Company document control system.
  • Responsible for complete and accurate record keeping and quality of all work performed.
  • May be required to travel to support work.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications
  • Shall have a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited engineering program.
  • Entry-level; 0-1 years of relevant industry experience preferred.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
