What do we need?

We are looking for an eDiscovery Analyst who will work under the direct supervision of the Litigation Technology & Trial Support Manager. The eDiscovery Analyst supports case teams in our Trial & Appellate Practice Group (Litigation) and performs technology and electronically stored information (ESI) related activities associated with a client and matter specific project. This position is hybrid from the D.C. area with in-office presence as needed. We would expect travel to trial locations, depending on trial schedules.

How will you make an impact?

  • Administering Relativity environments, including users, security groups, configurations, and permissions; creating Relativity workspaces; processing data in Relativity workspaces or CloudNine LAW; running searches at case team request in Relativity workspaces; and producing documents from Relativity workspaces or CloudNine LAW.
  • Supporting eDiscovery workflows, including data ingestion, processing, manipulation, and production.
  • Uploading and exporting documents to and from review platforms.
  • Running Boolean searches and generating reports within review tools.
  • Verifying, performing QC, and manipulating data to ensure accuracy and proper handling.
  • Managing project deliverables, timelines, and multiple concurrent requests.
  • Communicating job specifications and status updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Providing technical and workflow support to litigation teams.
  • Maintaining professionalism, attention to detail, and strong organizational habits.
  • Maintaining accurate and current records of all aspects of projects related to job tracking, specifications, and chain-of-custody documentation.
  • Leveraging resources to deliver an “in office” experience to case teams traveling for trials.
  • Coordinating cross-functional delivery of services to case teams and serving as the main contact for all IT questions, concerns, and needs during trials.
  • Utilizing audio and visual equipment to display courtroom graphics and exhibits.
  • Assisting with maintaining knowledge databases relevant to trials and presentation work, including information about judges’ preferences regarding IT setups, courtroom layouts, and courthouse restrictions or requirements for using outside IT equipment.
  • Performing other duties and special projects as assigned.

What will you bring to the role?

  • 1-2 years of eDiscovery experience at a law firm or vendor preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or other data/technology field of study preferred. 
  • Basic knowledge of Electronic Discovery and e-Discovery principles preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of the concepts, principles, management and processing of ESI as they relate to legal matters, including the use of various ESI collection, management, review and processing tools and applications preferred.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Must deliver high-quality work product and work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work overtime and travel for trial support.

The schedule for this role is Mondays to Fridays – 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm EST with an one hour dinner break. On call every 3rd week on Mondays to Fridays from 9:00 pm to 12:00 pm and all day Saturday and Sunday.

The good faith base salary range for this position is $57,500 to $75,000 per year. The actual salary rate offered to candidates within that range will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, years of relevant experience, education, and the candidate’s overall qualifications for the position as assessed by the Firm.
