We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector with a strong background in aerospace or precision manufacturing to perform and document in-process, final, first-piece, and First Article Inspections (FAI).


1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM; Friday overtime (6-10h) as needed.


This is not an entry-level position; candidates must have hands-on precision inspection experience.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-process, final, first-piece, and First Article Inspections.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, blueprints, and GD&T.
  • Inspect precision parts using micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, radius gauges, dial indicators, surface plates, and other measuring equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and product traceability.
  • Assist in managing and coordinating all instruments for calibration and maintaining accurate calibration records.
  • Support calibration and control of inspection equipment, including monitoring calibration status and maintaining required records.
  • Identify and document nonconforming product.
  • Follow established quality procedures and customer requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of Quality Inspection experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and precision measuring equipment.
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001.
  • Familiarity with calibration requirements and measuring equipment control **Gagetraks knowledge a PLUS
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, Word, and customer portals.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
