iWorkforce Solutions (iWS) is seeking motivated individuals for entry-level Manufacturing and Assembly roles. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling components according to engineering specifications while maintaining a strong commitment to quality and safety. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on industrial experience and cross-train across multiple production areas.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly & Production: Assemble screens and parts to engineering specifications in a safe and cost-efficient manner. Duties include trimming, marking, boxing, crating, and cutting materials (screen and steel) to length.
Quality Control: Inspect finished parts and components to ensure exact dimensional accuracy and quantity.
Equipment Maintenance: Properly store equipment, tools, and materials; utilize tools such as grinders as necessary.
Cross-Training: Maintain a willingness to cross-train into various production departments to support changing manufacturing schedules.
Facility Upkeep: Assist with routine plant housekeeping duties, including sweeping, emptying trash barrels, and ensuring proper chemical storage.
Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety and environmental policies, utilize mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE), and promptly report any safety hazards or injuries.
Required Skills & Qualifications
No prior experience or formal education required-entry-level candidates are welcome!
Strong communication skills (ability to speak, read, and write English preferred).
High flexibility and availability to work extended daily hours and weekends.
Ability to work comfortably in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility (no air conditioning).
Adaptability and a strong desire to learn and cross-train in different production areas.
