American Structurepoint’s Civil Site Engineering Group is seeking an entry-level Staff Engineer in Indianapolis, IN! In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in site design, including grading, utilities, parking lots, roadways, and stormwater management. You’ll collaborate with licensed engineers and contribute to the design and development of land development projects that impact local communities. This role works extensively with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Excel as you create and refine construction plans.

What you'll do: 

  • Work closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers and Team Leaders on exciting land development projects, industrial, residential, mixed-use, urban re-development and/or affordable housing projects.
  • You will learn drafting, plan production, design, field inspections, cost estimation and coordination.
  • You will have the opportunity to use AutoCAD and HydroCAD
  • Perform calculations, assist with permit applications, technical specification preparation and develop exhibits, design drawing and presentation materials
  • Other duties as assigned

Who you are: 

  • Student majoring in any of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Land Survey or Structural Engineering or other related programs with an emphasis on Civil Engineering
