Wage: $21.00/hr.
The Fleet Services Tire and Lube Technician is an entry level position with the Hertz Corporation and is the launching point for our maintenance team. In this role you will be performing preventative maintenance, with a focus on Oil and Tire Changes. Must be a quick learner, and have an assortment of tools, including oil filter wrenches, socket set, and a toolbox to keep them in.
What You'll Do:
  • The Fleet Services Tire and Lube Technician is an entry level position with the Hertz Corporation and is the launching point for our maintenance team. In this role you will be performing preventative maintenance, with a focus on Oil and Tire Changes. Must be a quick learner, and have an assortment of tools, including oil filter wrenches, socket set, and a toolbox to keep them in.

What We're Looking For:
  • Entry level position with no required experience
  • Preferred prior experience with automotive repair (personal or professional)

Knowledge:
  • Must be able to perform vehicle repairs with oversight
  • Ability to use shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools

Additional Notes:
  • Familiarity with the below tools (to be provided)
    • 3/8" and ½" impact wrench
    • Sockets wrench - metric and standard - preferably long and short lengths.
    • Oil Filter wrenches and tools
    • TPMS tool - reset tire sensors
    • Combo wrenches
    • Screwdrivers
  • Must have a Valid Driver's License

What You'll Get:
  • Thehourly rate / wage for this role is $21.00 per hour

  • Overtime Pay: Eligible (The company pays overtime in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Per company policy, approval is required prior to the use of overtime)

  • Holiday Pay: Eligible (1.5 x regular pay rate for hours worked on a designated holiday, in addition to receiving 8 hours of holiday pay)

  • Sick Pay: Granted Up to 48 hours

  • Paid Time Off / Vacation / Paid observed Holidays (Accruals start at .83 Days a Month, 4 Floating Holidays, 9 Paid Observed Holidays)

  • Profit Sharing: Eligible, Up to %X
