Security Officer DoD Security Clearance Patrol Readiness

As a Security Officer DoD Security Clearance Patrol Readiness in MOORESTOWN, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will contribute to a professional environment through routine observations, reporting, and teamwork. Pay Rate: $19.36 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense billing operations location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific requirements for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractors.
  • Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
