Job description

Senior U.S. Trucking Dispatcher / Carrier Negotiator

We are a U.S.-based trucking brokerage looking for an experienced, highly motivated dispatcher/carrier negotiator based in Ukraine.

This is not an entry-level dispatcher position. We are looking for someone who already understands the U.S. trucking market and can independently find, negotiate with, and book carriers.

Responsibilities
  • Search for qualified carriers for available loads using DAT, Truckstop, and other industry tools.
  • Call carriers and negotiate competitive rates.
  • Book trucks and manage the load from booking through delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and drivers.
  • Verify carrier information, availability, equipment, and pickup details.
  • Monitor loads and proactively resolve problems.
  • Communicate professionally with U.S. carriers, brokers, and customers.
  • Work independently and make good decisions under time pressure.
  • Consistently look for opportunities to improve margins while keeping loads covered.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of proven experience in U.S. trucking dispatch, carrier sales, freight brokerage, or a closely related position.
  • Strong spoken English and excellent communication skills.
  • Proven ability to negotiate rates with U.S. carriers.
  • Strong knowledge of the U.S. trucking industry and major lanes.
  • Experience with DAT and/or Truckstop.
  • Ability to independently book and manage loads.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
