Your role and responsibilities
As an Associate Business Transformation Consultant (BTC) at IBM, you'll work right at the intersection of technology, people, and process, helping our clients transform how they adapt to shifts in the market and more closely align their business strategy and vision. You'll help clients understand leading technologies and the impact they can have on traditional business processes, as well as an opportunity to build a powerful portfolio of interesting and rewarding experiences. Leveraging a growth mindset, you're ready and willing to deliver business value, wherever needed. These positions are anticipated to start in 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
* Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to identify trends, providing clients with actionable insights to enhance marketing, operational, and business practices.
* Data Visualization: Create visually compelling and user-friendly data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data through rigorous data cleaning, validation, and preprocessing procedures.
* Client Collaboration: Work with the project team to prioritize and translate Client requirements and define current and future operational scenarios (processes, models, use cases, plans, and solutions).
* Presentation of Insights: Present analytical findings and recommendations clearly and concisely, demonstrating the value of data-driven decision-making to clients.
* Consulting Skills: - Advocates business process transformation by analyzing application portfolios across the ecosystem to identify process optimization and automation opportunities, leveraging planning, project management, and Agile methodologies to drive effective solutions. - Demonstrates strong communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and teamwork skills, with a collaborative mindset, curiosity to learn, and the ability to clearly articulate ideas, ask insightful questions, and recommend solutions.

• Exceptional quantitative analysis skills and ability to derive recommendations informed by data and insights.
• Powerful communication and storytelling skills, with an ability to communicate complex situations clearly and simply.

• Ability to apply logic to solve ambiguous problems and deliver creative and well-structured solutions.
• A passion for innovative ideas, coupled with the ability to understand and assimilate different points of view.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively in an intense team environment, able to build direct working. relationships across all levels of the IBM and client teams.
• Exposure to tools like Copilot, ChatGPT, Open Ai, or similar AI assistants to research, write, analyze, and improve productivity, while applying critical thinking and validation.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Passion to understand the applications of emerging technologies and adapt modern approaches and innovative solutions to client problems.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities, including the desire to take ambiguous problems and deliver creative and well-structured solutions; as well as applying deep analytical skills to ensure recommendations are informed by data and insights.
• Highly resilient with the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently, meet deadlines, and share/incorporate feedback.
• Experience in Operations areas such as HR, IT, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing. Sales and marketing and/or Finance.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
