Responsibilities
  • The Dialysis Technician is responsible for providing technical and supportive care to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment.
  • They work under the supervision of registered nurses and nephrologists to ensure that dialysis procedures are performed safely and effectively.
  • The Dialysis Technician is also tasked with monitoring patients during treatment, maintaining dialysis equipment, and ensuring a clean and sterile environment in the dialysis unit. 

Qualifications

Job Requirements: 

  • High School or GED.
  • 1+ years' experience in a dialysis setting.
  • Certification as a Dialysis Technician- CHT- Certified Hemodialysis Technician 
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:  

  • Completion of a dialysis technician training program.
