Intel's Foundry Automation team is seeking engineers to join our Infrastructure Security Automation group. This entry-level position focuses on modernizing foundry security and infrastructure through advanced automation while providing third-tier support for secure manufacturing systems. New engineers will receive mentorship and training to build security-focused automation and orchestration solutions for infrastructure spanning the complete hardware and OS lifecycle in our foundry environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and provide third-tier security support for foundry manufacturing systems and infrastructure

  • Participate in designing, developing, and implementing security automation solutions for hardware and OS lifecycle management

  • Study and apply Intel's foundry process technology development business models with security best practices

  • Assist in defining and developing secure systems supporting foundry applications for material tracking, process control, and data analysis

  • Develop skills in automating security tasks using various scripting technologies and programming languages

  • Collaborate with experienced security engineers and cross-functional teams to gather security requirements and implement scalable foundry automation solutions

  • Learn to troubleshoot complex foundry infrastructure security issues under senior engineer guidance

  • Monitor and maintain security compliance across foundry automation systems

  • Communicate security project status, vulnerabilities, and solutions effectively to team members and stakeholders

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
