Job description

Entry level position responsible for creating and revising CAD drawings and details to support patternmaking and tooling design. Works closely with Engineers and Project Leaders to ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards and project requirements.

Essential Functions:

- Prepare and revise CAD drawings based on engineering input and project specifications.

- Ensure accuracy of details, dimensions, and notes on drawings.

- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other detailers to resolve design issues.

- Maintain CAD files and documentation in accordance with company standards.

- Support patternmaking and tooling projects by providing accurate and timely design details.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Associate's degree or certificate in CAD design, drafting, or related field preferred.

- 1-2 years of CAD or detailing experience preferred; entry-level candidates considered.

- Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Unigraphics, or similar).

- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
