Job description

Design Intern / Junior Designer - Internship / Entry-Level

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid - In-Office M/W/F, Remote Tues/Thurs)
Reports To: Senior Designer
Team: Creative / Marketing

The Opportunity

Intellibright is looking for a Design Intern / Junior Designer who's eager to get real agency experience and learn how creative work supports strategy, performance, and measurable growth.

This is a detail-oriented, execution-focused role with a strong emphasis on editorial layout and presentation design. You'll help turn complex ideas-marketing strategy, positioning, and performance data-into clear, structured, brand-aligned visual materials used across internal leadership and client-facing work.

You will work directly with our Senior Designer and collaborate with marketing, strategy, and leadership teams in a fast-paced, high-output environment.

About Intellibright

Intellibright is a performance-driven digital marketing agency focused on measurable growth. Everything we produce-from strategy decks to brand systems-supports real business outcomes.

Design at Intellibright isn't about decoration. It's about clarity, persuasion, brand consistency, and supporting data-driven decision-making.

What You Will OwnEditorial & Presentation Design (Primary Focus)
  • Design and refine slide decks for:
  • Sales presentations
  • Client strategy proposals
  • Internal leadership materials
  • Transform dense content and data into clear, visually structured layouts
  • Strengthen hierarchy, typography, and clarity across presentation materials
  • Help build and maintain scalable presentation templates
Image Sourcing & Web Support
  • Source high-quality, on-brand imagery for website builds and refreshes
  • Edit and optimize images for web use (cropping, color correction, formatting)
  • Support website design updates within Figma
  • Maintain organized, scalable asset libraries
Creative & Brand Support
  • Support the Senior Designer on internal and client branding initiatives
  • Assist in producing one-sheeters, marketing collateral, and social graphics
  • Ensure brand consistency across all deliverables
  • Keep design files, templates, and systems structured and easy to reuse
What Success Looks Like
  • Slide decks are clean, confident, and easy to follow-strong typography, spacing, and hierarchy
  • Complex content (strategy + data) becomes simple, structured, and persuasive
  • Templates and systems become more scalable over time (less reinventing, more consistency)
  • You take feedback well and iterate fast without losing details
  • The team can rely on you for steady execution across multiple requests and priorities
Why This Role Matters

At Intellibright, strategy only creates value when it's communicated clearly and executed consistently. This role helps ensure our ideas-especially performance strategy and decision-critical insights-are presented with clarity, structure, and brand alignment so clients and internal teams can act quickly and confidently.

What You'll Gain
  • Direct mentorship from a Senior Designer
  • Exposure to multi-client agency work
  • Experience designing in a data-driven marketing environment
  • Portfolio work that reflects strategic thinking-not just aesthetics

  • Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
