Job description

Tooling Engineer (SolidWorks / Magma / Metal Casting Experience Required)

Experience: Mid Level

Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year

Job Details What you'll do
  • Build and refine tooling using SolidWorks in support of ductile iron casting programs
  • Run casting simulations in MAGMA to validate designs before they hit the floor
  • Own yield improvement and continuous improvement work across the casting process
  • Partner directly with customers and account managers on new product development
  • Support quoting, product launches, testing and validation from start to finish
  • Bring new technology and process improvements into the operation
What we're looking for
  • Associate degree in engineering or a related field, bachelor's preferred
  • Two or more years working hands on with CAD modeling, blueprint reading and design for manufacturability
  • Manufacturing background required, foundry, tooling design, casting simulation or CNC machining experience is a strong plus
  • Strong problem solver who communicates well and works across teams easily
