Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CAD Administrator to manage and support enterprise CAD and PLM environments for a global engineering organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience administering CAD tools, supporting engineering users, managing CAD/PLM integrations, performing system upgrades, and maintaining enterprise standards.


Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience as a CAD Administrator, CAD Systems Administrator, Engineering Systems Administrator, or similar role.
  • Hands-on administration of one or more enterprise CAD platforms:
  • PTC Creo
  • SolidWorks
  • CATIA
  • Siemens NX
  • Autodesk Inventor
  • Solid Edge
  • Experience with one or more PLM systems:
  • Windchill
  • Teamcenter
  • ENOVIA
  • Oracle Agile PLM
  • Aras Innovator
  • Autodesk Vault
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • CAD configuration and customization
  • CAD standards and templates
  • CAD deployment and upgrades
  • CAD-PLM integrations
  • User administration and technical support
  • Engineering Change Management (ECN/ECO)
  • BOM and product data management
  • Experience with scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, J-Link, Pro/Toolkit, or similar is preferred.
  • Experience supporting enterprise engineering teams in a manufacturing environment.


Preferred Experience

  • Managing software licensing and vendor coordination.
  • Developing CAD standards, templates, and best practices.
  • Delivering user training and onboarding.
  • Supporting global engineering teams.
  • Experience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.


Nice to Have

  • Exposure to cloud CAD platforms.
  • Experience with VR/AR, Generative Design, or AI-assisted engineering tools.


Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
