Job Description

Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing.
Conduct oral health assessments, including periodontal charting and dental screenings.
Administer local anesthesia as permitted by state regulations and practice protocols.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, proper nutrition for dental health, and preventative care.
Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) as prescribed.
Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using Eaglesoft dental software.
Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure seamless patient flow and continuity of care.
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to infection control guidelines.
Assist with appointment scheduling as needed.

Salary Range

Full-time $55 - $60 per hour

Education & Licensure: Valid and current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of California.
