About Rivian

As a company, we constantly challenge what’s possible, never simply accepting what has always been done. We reframe old problems, seek new solutions and operate comfortably in areas that are unknown. Our backgrounds are diverse, but our team shares a love of the outdoors and a desire to protect it for future generations.

Role Summary

Leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC), you will deploy and monitor scalable cloud resources while collaborating closely with business stakeholders. If you possess a "product-first" mindset and are excited to pioneer the transition from traditional integration to Generative AI-driven patterns, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities
  • Implement asynchronous and synchronous integration patterns including Request/Response, Pub/Sub, and Event Streaming utilizing AWS native architecture.
  • Develop and test integrations leveraging AWS services, Kafka, and any iPaaS platforms (e.g., Dell Boomi, Workato, Mulesoft).
  • Build , deploy and monitor AWS cloud resources(EC2, Lambdas, EKS ,S3 etc) with help of infrastructure code like cloudformation , terraform and terragraunt
  • Learn and apply expertise in emerging Generative AI technologies, transitioning from traditional middleware to AI-driven integration patterns.
  • Collaborate with our business to define requirements and deliver technical solutions with a "product-first" mindset.

Qualifications
  • Preferred 1+ years of experience in integration projects involving both SaaS and on-premise applications.
  • Preferred 1+ years of hands-on experience specifically focused on AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue, EKS, API Gateway).
  • Basic understanding or experience in at least one major middleware platform, such as Boomi, MuleSoft, or Workato.
  • Experience in one of the programming languages like Java, Python, or Node.js.
  • Understanding of Microservices, API design, ETL processes, and Web Services.
  • Deep knowledge of industry-standard protocols, including REST, SFTP, HTTPS, and SMTP.
  • Basic understanding of Generative AI concepts and how LLMs can be integrated into applications via APIs (e.g., Amazon Bedrock or OpenAI).
  • Understanding OR Experience using Airflow or AWS Step Functions to orchestrate multi-step agent workflows, handle retries, and manage human-in-the-loop approvals.
  • Understanding OR Experience with GitLab Version Control and branching strategies within highly controlled, compliant environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
