Bring your expertise and knowledge to our team! We are seeking a qualified Entry-, Junior-, or Mid-Level Financial Analyst in Arlington, VA . This position is not eligible for hybrid or remote work situations. This is a 100% on-site, in-office position. Position Description:   The selectee will perform as the Decision Technologies Financial Analyst for a US Navy Weapons Engineering and Program Acquisition Support contract.    YOU MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR A DOD SECRET CLEARANCE   Responsibilities   •        Providing advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets •        Measure organizational performance; assess the effects of various programs and policies on the budget •        Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives •        Examine past and current budgets and research economic and financial developments that affect the organization's spending •        Coordinate financial activities across various stakeholders •        Manage finances across multiple funding types •        Track budgets, costs, and variances •        Produce executive summaries •        Conduct financial reporting and analysis of financial issues and customer requirements •        Interpret and apply financial management principles •        Apply financial management processes, techniques, policies, regulations and organizational strategic goals   Required Qualifications   •        Entry-Level: Some education in pursuit of a business or finance career. •        Junior-Level: 1-3 years' experience as a financial analyst •        Mid-Level: 4-10 years' experience as a contracts or program analyst for a Government program office   Desired Qualifications •        Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline •        Direct experience as a financial analyst with NAVSEA or PEO IWS program offices •        An active SECRET clearance •        Knowledge of Navy-specific financial systems such as ERP, MSIL, and NEPS •        Experience working with financial actions and task tracking for ACAT-1/2/3 acquisition programs. •        Ability to work effectively with team members and subcontractors from various technical, acquisition, and administrative disciplines •        Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills •        Ability to develop and deliver coherent and concise customer presentations   Travel Requirements: •         Limited travel requirements (<10%)     Compensation: Compensation at Decision Technologies, Inc. is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.   Employee Benefits: * Competitive Paid Time Off * Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance * Employee Assistance Programs * Flexible Spending Accounts (Medical, Dependent Care & Commuter) * Company paid Short-Term, Long-Term, Life and AD&D Insurance * 401(k) match * Tuition Reimbursement * Paid Certifications     Decision Technologies, Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
