The Division of Epidemiology's Evo-Epidemiology Laboratory is in search of a Research Assistant/Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have interest and/or experience in biostatstics and/or epidemiology and a strong foundation in coding. The Research Assistant/Analyst will have the opportunity to help with a variety of research projects focused on tuberculosis epidemiology, including the seasonality and climate drivers of disease.

Essential Functions:

1. Data cleaning of epidemiologic and climate/pollutant datasets.

2. Statistical modeling: descriptive statistics, time series analysis, data visualization.

3. Manuscript writing.

4. Assistance with other laboratory projects

Ensure the quality standards and scientific integrity in research activities are maintained. Remain knowledgeable of relevant scientific and technical developments. Junior-level scientist, acquiring scientific skills used in R&D. Works under the guidance of more senior-level scientists.

Requires a bachelor's (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience or a master's (or equivalency) degree.
