Entry-Level Data Center Cable Technician

$22/hour + 1.5x Overtime Opportunities

6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (50 Hours/Week)

Responsibilities

  • Pull and route copper and fiber cabling throughout the data center
  • Assist with installation of structured cabling systems
  • Build and install server racks and cabinets
  • Label, organize, and dress cables according to project standards
  • Utilize basic telecom hand tools to complete installations
  • Work on ladders and lifts while following site safety procedures
  • Support day-to-day data center build-out activities
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

  • 6+ months of commercial low-voltage experience within a large commercial construction or data center environment
  • Knowledge and experience using basic telecom hand tools
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physically demanding work
  • Comfortable:
    • Climbing ladders throughout the day
    • Lifting and moving materials
    • Building server cabinets and racks
    • Pulling and routing cable
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to obtain:
    • OSHA 10 Certification before starting
    • Lift Certification before starting
