General Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening ifrequired
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability tolift upto 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
- Comfortable working in ceilings, crawl spaces, and construction environments
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communicationand customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
- Willingness to travel to job sites and occasionally work overtime as project schedules require
WhatYou'llDo
- Assistwith installation of low-voltage cabling systems, including data, voice, fiber optic, and security cabling
- Pull, route, label, and support termination of Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cables
- Assistin installation of cable pathways such as J-hooks, cable trays, and conduit
- Support installation of equipment including racks, patch panels, and network devices
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards
- Assistwith basic testing and troubleshooting of installed systems
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and schematics (preferred)
WhatYou'llBring
Required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in construction, low-voltage, or related field (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
- Ability to work in active construction environments
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting
- Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and in confined or elevated spaces
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
- Experience with structured cabling or low-voltage systems
- Familiarity with TIA/EIA standards
- OSHA 10 certification
