Job Title: Laboratory Technician
Location: Vernal, UT 84078
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Pay Rate: $21.00 - $23.00/hr on W2
Schedule: Day Shift, Monday – Friday (40-hour work week with potential overtime). Flexibility for 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (includes a 1-hour lunch break).
 
Position Overview
We are seeking an entry-level Laboratory Technician to support the daily operations of our US Onshore Regional Laboratory. Operating under direct supervision, this role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in an analytical laboratory environment. You will assist with sample preparation, data entry, inventory support, and general laboratory housekeeping while strictly adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Sample Handling & Prep: Support routine laboratory testing and sample preparation activities. Assist with sample receipt, storage, and disposal in compliance with safety requirements.
  • Data Entry & Logs: Accurately document laboratory work, sample data, and results in logs, reports, and digital tracking systems.
  • Lab Housekeeping: Maintain laboratory equipment, workspaces, and inventory in a clean, organized, and operational condition.
  • Safety & Quality: Support QA/QC activities and audits. Perform risk analysis before assigned tasks and fully comply with all HSE policies and PPE requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 0 to 2 years of relevant laboratory or technical experience (Great entry-level opportunity!).
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic computer literacy, a willingness to learn technical skills, and a strict commitment to safety.
Preferred Qualifications
