Job description

New Tech Global Staffing is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant / Dispatcher for a client located in Houston, TX to join our team. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00/hour DOE + Weekly Pay + Full Benefits

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM


Summary:

Responsible for providing administrative and dispatch support while delivering excellent customer service. This role supports daily office operations, coordinates scheduling, and assists internal teams to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities
  • Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner
  • Greet visitors and assist with basic inquiries
  • Perform general clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, copying, and data entry
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
  • Schedule meetings and appointments using calendars
  • Assist with preparing documents, reports, and correspondence
  • Update spreadsheets, databases, and internal records
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Support multiple departments with day-to-day administrative needs
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow company procedures
  • Assist with dispatching duties (training provided if needed)
  • Assist with special projects as assigned

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry, email)
  • Professional communication skills (verbal and written)
