This is considered an entry-level position with 1-3 years of experience in reviewing title work, drafting legal documents, performing administrative tasks, supporting real estate permitting and other real estate related tasks. The ideal candidate would understand necessary local, state, and federal statutory requirements for voluntary and eminent domain land acquisitions and real estate permitting with experience on electric transmission and/or oil and gas linear acquisition projects.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

This position resides in our Energy, Infrastructure, and Real Estate Division and will support right-of-way acquisition, land leasing, permitting, and construction support for oil and gas, wind, solar, and transmission areas. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Create and manage project permanent files
  • Perform data entry and run reports
  • Prepare and reproduce easements and other documents
  • Assist Supervisor and team with assigned aspects of projects
  • Compose internal and external correspondence as directed
  • Perform project-related duties requested by Supervisor
  • Maintain strict confidentiality
  • Proofread documents for accuracy
  • Mailing, digital and hard copy filing per client specifications
  • Document recording
  • Project file close out
  • Other project related duties as required

Preferred Training and Skills

  • 2+years of office administrative experience
  • Utility, right-of-way, title, real estate experience a plus
  • Prior experience supporting engineering, utility or land services companies
  • Paralegal, Real Estate, or Business studies a plus

  • Ability to meet deadlines and occasionally work overtime

COMPENSATION

Compensation commensurate with experience.
