About the Role:
Mogul & Co is seeking a Media Operations Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is hybrid with Chicago as the preferred location. As a Media Operations Coordinator, you will support the strategy, day-to-day execution, and ongoing management of client media campaigns across a variety of industries. This is a hands-on, entry-level role where you'll assist with building, trafficking, monitoring, and optimizing campaigns under the guidance of senior team members, helping ensure performance goals are met.
You'll also support client communications and help translate results and best practices across media channels for internal team review. In addition, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Data Analytics & Product, Business Development, Media Operations, and Finance, to support smooth campaign delivery and high-quality client service.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the trafficking and campaign build process across social and programmatic platforms (Google platforms is a plus), ensuring accuracy and timely launch
  • Capture and organize screenshots and proof of performance (POPs) for campaign documentation and client reporting
  • Assist with billing and invoicing processes, including reconciling media plans against actuals and flagging discrepancies
  • Help identify relevant media opportunities for current clients within budget, under the direction of senior team members
  • Support day-to-day communication with clients and vendors, including pulling real-time reporting and assisting with reconciliation of media plans
  • Assist with real-time campaign monitoring, optimization, and cross-channel reporting (digital and traditional)
  • Help compile ongoing performance reporting and support the team in surfacing insights across marketing channels
  • Maintain accuracy in data entry, reporting, and campaign documentation
  • Support budget stewardship by tracking spend and flagging discrepancies to senior team members
  • Learn media platforms and tools with the goal of eventually supporting onboarding of future new hires
  • Apply feedback from senior team members to continuously improve day-to-day execution
  • Support the adoption of media management tools and software
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Data Science, Business Development, Media Operations) to support seamless campaign delivery
  • Build foundational fluency in traditional media planning and buying to support fully integrated media strategies
  • Assist in consumer and industry research using various research tools and platforms
  • Regular exposure to and education on emerging media types and technology partners
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Who You Are:
Experience, Education & Certification:
  • 0-2 years in digital/traditional media or agency account management; internship experience welcomed
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field required
  • Certifications such as TTD, Meta Blueprint, and Google Ads are a plus (or willingness to obtain)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; exposure to industry tools and channels such as Google Analytics, Facebook/Instagram, YouTube, Video, Connected TV, Native, or 3rd party ad servers is a plus
  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana a plus
  • Demonstrated proficiency working in MS Excel, MS Power Point (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, complex calculations, etc)
