Job description

Mercury Electronics has a challenging opportunity available for a talented, enthusiastic, and motivated Administrative Assistant. We are seeking a positive team player with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in our fast-paced, dynamic environment. This is an entry-level position with high visibility and great potential for advancement. This is an administrative position with a focus on data entry.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Data Entry (Order Entry, Shipping, Purchasing, and Quality Control)
  • Filing (physical paperwork and digital files)
  • Scanning, faxing, and emailing
  • Receptionist duties
  • Mail sorting and distribution
  • Creating spreadsheets, letters, forms, and other documents
  • Completing special assignments and projects

Qualifications/Requirements:

Candidate qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to prioritize work
  • Excellent typing and ten-key skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
  • Ability to learn new tasks quickly and independently
  • Experience with the following software is required:
    • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint)
    • Internet Explorer or other web browsers
  • Experience with the following preferred, but not required (will train):
    • Production Scheduling
    • Database and/or ERP systems
    • Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with a manufacturing company is a plus.
  • Candidates must have the ability to occasionally work overtime.
