Job description

JOB SUMMARY: This is a fast-paced entry level position for someone who is eager to learn and grow in all areas of Accounting for a contract manufacturer.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with day-to-day, monthly, quarterly and annual closing of financial statements including preparation of journal entries and preparing reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts.
  • Work directly with on transactions including billing, accounts receivable, expense entry, fixed assets, and others.
  • Maintain general ledger of accounts.
  • Assist with year-end audit and tax preparation, insurance audits, 1099 reporting, and other ad hoc compliance as necessary.
  • Produce timely and accurate management reporting including key performance indicators.
  • Review and analyze sales, operational, and financial data and create relevant reporting.
  • Help to maintain and improve internal control structure.
  • Various ad hoc reporting needs.
  • Assist as needed in Cost Accounting.
