What will you be doing?
An Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for processing and managing vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payment of company obligations. This role includes matching invoices to purchase orders, reconciling discrepancies, maintaining financial records, and supporting month-end closing activities. The Accounts Payable Clerk works closely with vendors and internal departments to resolve issues, ensure compliance with company policies, and contribute to efficient financial operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Enter invoices and obtain appropriate payment approval.
• Reconcile vendor statements and communicate with vendor on issues.
• Maintain accurate vendor records.
• Maintain schedules across multiple payment formats.
• Check request processing.
• Assist in monthly closings.
• AP representative for assigned store support.
• Assists with other office duties and special projects, as necessary.
