Job description

JOB SUMMARY  

The Junior Campaign Manager / Data Analyst supports SEU Creative’s digital marketing initiatives by managing campaign execution, tracking performance, and analyzing data across multiple platforms. Working closely with the Digital Strategist and marketing leadership, this role helps ensure campaigns are accurately implemented, optimized for performance, and aligned with enrollment and brand goals.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, data-driven and eager to learn digital marketing analytics. Responsibilities include assisting with ad setup and reporting for platforms like Google, Meta, and TikTok, maintaining accurate data within the CRM and creating performance reports that inform strategic decisions.

This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in campaign management, marketing analytics, and CRM integration within a creative, fast-paced environment. The role provides a foundation for professional growth in digital marketing strategy and data analysis while contributing directly to Southeastern University’s mission and enrollment objectives.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS 

Reports to: Digital Strategist

ESSENTIAL DUTIES - May include, but is not limited to the following: 

  • Administration Paid Advertising & Reporting: 
  • Build and maintain strong digital marketing campaigns within all marketing platforms including Google Ads, OTT/CTV platform, Meta and TikTok
  • Implement and monitor email marketing campaigns, analyzing metrics for performance improvements.
  • Analyze campaign performance for optimizations and Report on relevant metrics assigned by the Leadership Team


Email & Text Message Campaign Management & Measurement: 

  • Oversee build out of student journey communications for ALL student types
  • Brainstorm and implement A/B tests and conversion optimization experiments to maximize engagement.
  • Regularly review campaign metrics to optimize strategies and meet performance goals.
  • Oversee ongoing text & direct mail campaigns


Collaboration with SEU Creative Teams & University: 

  • Work collaboratively across marketing and internal university teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing ideas to foster a creative and high-impact marketing environment.
  • Complete additional projects as assigned to support the department’s overall goals and initiatives.

EXPERIENCE 

Required:

1+ years, proven experience and understanding of data management and conversion marketing, preferably in an educational or enrollment management context.

2-4 years, proven experience and understanding of data management and conversion marketing, preferably in an educational or enrollment management context.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Required:

  • Strong understanding of Christian values, faith-based education, and the ability to effectively communicate the mission and vision of SEU
  • Proven experience and understanding of data management and conversion marketing, preferably in an educational or enrollment management context.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working with multiple, diverse database sources by designing, refining, and running complex data queries and producing related reports for targeting. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
     

 Preferred:

  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools/CRM, such as Salesforce, Hubspot, or Element 451
  • Proficiency in project management & data tools, such as Asana, Excel, etc.
  • Understanding of Google Analytics & campaign management using Google adwords, Meta, TikTok
     


WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Visual Requirements: Ability to read and interpret data on computer screens and printed documents.
  • Hearing and Speaking: Adequate hearing to participate in conversations and phone calls, and clear speaking ability for effective communication.

Monday to Friday, 9-5 PM with occasional evenings and weekends based on project deadlines and events.


TRAINING

All new hires and employees transferring into a new position will have a 90-day probationary period within which to learn the functions of the job and to be evaluated. Following the probationary period, the employee can transition to regular status, have the probationary period extended in order to receive more training, or employment can be terminated. SCREENING

All full-time positions at SEU are deemed security-sensitive and require background checks. Employees required to drive their own personal vehicle, a rental car or an SEU vehicle in performance of their duties must pass an MVR records check and meet the requirements of the University’s insurance carrier in order to meet the requirements of the position.
