Job description

A Physical Therapy Aide provides essential support to physical therapists by assisting patients, preparing therapy equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized treatment environment. Working closely with a small team of 1-3 members, this role focuses on facilitating smooth therapy sessions and ensuring effective communication within the treatment space. The aide reports directly to the physical therapist and does not require travel between locations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and arrange therapy equipment before treatments
  • Support physical therapists during patient care activities
  • Sanitize treatment areas and equipment to maintain hygiene standards
  • Help manage inventory and restock therapy supplies as needed
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure coordinated care
