Our team specializes in reverse engineering and microelectronics trust and assurance. Candidates for this position will contribute to the team by utilizing in-house software tools to reverse engineer hardware assets provided by the U.S. government.

During the analysis, engineers will identify common hardware structures like embedded processors, DSPs, filters, transceivers, data links, and decoders and determine the operational parameters they were designed for. Candidates will be exposed to and learn about design techniques across a variety of domains such as cybersecurity, electronic warfare, encryption, radar, and satellite communications. Full-Scope Poly required at the time of application *This position is contingent upon contract award Essential Job Responsibilities * Candidates for this position will be responsible for performing hardware analysis and reverse engineering of DoD assets.

* Candidates will be expected to produce clear documentation explaining the components, capabilities, and features of asset systems. * The use of HII proprietary tools, FPGA vendor tools, and third-party EDA tools will be necessary to perform modeling, simulation, and analysis of targeted systems. * Effective collaboration with teammates to produce cohesive results and create improved processes is required.

Minimum Qualifications 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience. * Must be a US Citizen. * Have an active DoD Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph at the time of consideration.

* Have experience with Verilog, System Verilog, or VHDL. * Have experience with industry-standard EDA tools and processes (synthesis, P&R, simulation, etc.) * Have the ability to learn new skills quickly Preferred Requirements • Have experience with debugging interfaces (JTAG, SWD, etc.) • Have experience with signal protocol analysis (RS232, CAN, PCIe, Gigabit serial, etc.) • Are proficient with ASIC, FPGA, or SOC design tools (Quartus, Vivado, ISE, etc.) • Are proficient with EDA tools (Synopsis, Altium, Modelsim) • Have experience with formal verification tools and methodologies (OneSpin 360, Questa, etc.) • Have experience with modifying hardware to perform non-intended tasks • Have experience bypassing encryption schemes (power glitching, side-channel attacks, etc.) Physical Requirements May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
