The Role and Team
Proofpoint's People Centric Managed Services (PCMS) team is seeking an Associate Triage Analyst (ATA) to support alert monitoring, triage, and operational checks across supported systems. PCMS delivers advanced information protection by providing deep visibility into data risk-analyzing content, user behavior, and threats through a cloud-native platform to prevent data loss and reduce operational overhead.
As an ATA, you will play a key role in monitoring security events for PCMS customers, ensuring timely escalation of issues through established processes, and supporting both internal teams and clients with reporting and insights. You will also help uphold Proofpoint's commitment to information security by adhering to ISO 27001 ISMS standards, including ongoing training and compliance checks to ensure proper handling of sensitive client data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor security events for PCMS customers and escalate incidents through approved channels
  • Support internal teams and customers with reporting, metrics, and analysis from security platforms
  • Assist in improving monitoring processes and alerting capabilities for PCMS clients
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 information security standards and company policies
  • Contribute to maintaining data security integrity through accurate handling of client information

Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in cybersecurity with a desire to develop technical skills in the field
  • Associate's (AA) or Bachelor's (BA) degree in a related field preferred
