Job description

Castle Technology Partners is seeking a full-time B2B Outside Sales Representative who is career-minded, highly motivated, and possesses exceptional people and communication skills. This individual will be responsible for developing new business relationships and helping businesses identify technology solutions that improve their productivity, security, and reliability.

The ideal candidate will generate new business across Castle Technology Partners' portfolio of Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity, Network Management, Cloud & Microsoft 365 Solutions, Business Phone Systems, Business Continuity & Backup, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, events, and other outbound sales strategies.
  • Develop new markets and territories for Castle Technology Partners.
  • Build relationships with business owners, executives, IT decision-makers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Identify customer technology needs and recommend appropriate solutions. Leverage technical team when needed.
  • Sell Castle Technology Partners' managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, Microsoft 365, network management, business phone, backup and disaster recovery, compliance, and other technology solutions.
  • Conduct sales presentations and solution demonstrations with multiple decision-makers at customer and prospect locations.
  • Manage the sales process from initial prospecting through discovery, proposal, negotiation, and closing.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed established monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Generate new recurring revenue through the sale of Managed IT Services and other recurring technology solutions.
  • Generate one-time revenue through IT projects, hardware, software, cybersecurity, cloud, communications, and other technology solutions.
  • Establish and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
  • Respond to customer questions and concerns and coordinate with internal teams to ensure a positive client experience.
  • Schedule and conduct follow-up meetings to maintain relationships and identify additional opportunities.
  • Prepare customized proposals, presentations, and other sales materials for prospective customers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and prospect information in the CRM.
  • Document sales activities, opportunities, interactions, and completed sales.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of Castle's evolving products, services, and technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with Castle's technical and service teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Represent Castle Technology Partners professionally throughout the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Previous B2B outside sales experience required; technology, telecommunications, cybersecurity, or managed services experience is a plus.
  • Proven track record of generating new business, increasing sales, and achieving sales quotas.
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Self-disciplined, motivated, persistent, and results-oriented.
  • Professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to confidently communicate with business owners, executives, and other decision-makers.
  • Strong ability to build rapport and develop long-term customer relationships.
  • Comfortable with cold calling and proactive business development.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple prospects, opportunities, and follow-up activities simultaneously.
  • Computer literate and comfortable learning new technology.
  • Ability to learn and effectively communicate a broad range of business technology solutions.
