How much do entry level cyber security online jobs pay per year?

As of Jul 4, 2026, the average yearly pay for entry level cyber security online in the United States is $132,962.00, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $111,000.00 and $150,000.00 per year, depending on experience, location, and employer.

How can I make $2000 a week working from home?

Entry level cybersecurity roles, such as security analyst or technician, typically do not pay $2000 weekly without significant experience or specialized skills. To increase earning potential, gaining certifications like CompTIA Security+ or CISSP, developing skills in network security and threat analysis, and working for companies offering remote cybersecurity positions can help, but high weekly earnings usually require advanced expertise or freelance consulting. Most entry-level positions pay less than $2000 per week, so building experience and certifications is essential for higher income goals.

Are there entry-level remote cyber security jobs?

Entry-level remote cybersecurity jobs are available and often require foundational knowledge of network security, operating systems, and security tools. Many positions may also require certifications like CompTIA Security+ and can be performed with a home office setup, making remote work accessible for beginners in the field.

What is the difference between Entry Level Cyber Security Online vs Entry Level Network Security Analyst?

However, Entry Level Cyber Security Online focuses on overall security measures, while Entry Level Network Security Analysts specialize in network infrastructure security. The choice depends on your interest in broader cybersecurity or network-specific roles.

How can I get a job in cybersecurity with no experience?

Entry-level cybersecurity jobs often require foundational knowledge of networks, operating systems, and security principles. Gaining certifications like CompTIA Security+ or Cisco's CCNA, along with hands-on practice through labs or internships, can improve your chances of securing an entry-level position without prior experience.

Can I make $200 a year in cyber security?

Entry level cybersecurity roles typically offer annual salaries well above $200, with most positions paying thousands of dollars per year. Starting salaries depend on factors like location, certifications, and skills such as knowledge of security tools and protocols, but earning only $200 annually is not realistic for a cybersecurity job.
