About the Position

As an intern in Supply Chain, you'll develop or enhance your skills in areas such as:
Project Management - Leading various projects across internal departments and levels of the organization.
Critical Thinking & Analysis - Learn to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to develop solutions to current.
Relationship Management- Learn how to more effectively interact with various levels of a large corporation. You'll get to know many different people in a wide variety of roles and backgrounds.

This role is for a Summer intern with potential to continue through the school year.

Functions

    • Gain exposure to Distribution, Transportation, and Material Handling solution development in a hands-on learning experience.
    • Gain knowledge on pricing methods strategies and tool creation
    • Learn project management skills as well as personnel management skills.
    • Complete an assigned project and present project to Executive leadership team upon completion of internship.
    • Assist with process and SOP documentation.
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or assigned.

Qualifications

    • Must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college, working toward a Master's degree, or have graduated in the last 12 months, with a preference for Logistics/Supply Chain/Transportation/Engineering focus.
    • This is an entry level position therefore previous experience is helpful but not required.
    • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel(removed with VBA) is a plus .
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work with a team of diverse individuals in a variety of fields.
