About the Opportunity
Our client is a fast-growing FinTech company seeking a Customer Success Manager with a background in accounting, bookkeeping, tax, payroll, or public accounting.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with clients and wants to move beyond traditional back-office accounting while still leveraging their financial expertise. You'll become a trusted advisor to small business owners, helping them understand payroll, bookkeeping, taxes, and financial operations while building strong, long-term client relationships.
What You'll Do
  • Manage a portfolio of small business clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for your customers.
  • Guide clients through payroll, bookkeeping, tax, and business-related questions using your accounting knowledge.
  • Build strong relationships by providing proactive support and consultative guidance.
  • Partner closely with internal Accounting, Tax, Payroll, and Operations teams to resolve customer needs.
  • Help clients understand financial concepts and navigate business processes with confidence.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and identify opportunities to further support customer success.
What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, tax, payroll, public accounting, or financial operations.
  • Experience working directly with clients, customers, or business owners is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting terminology and financial concepts.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Customer-focused, consultative, and proactive approach.
  • Comfortable learning new technology and working in a fast-paced environment.
Ideal Backgrounds
We'd love to hear from professionals such as:
  • Bookkeepers
  • Staff or Senior Accountants
  • Tax Associates or Tax Accountants
  • Payroll Specialists
  • Public Accounting professionals
  • Accounting contractors or consultants looking for a more relationship-driven role
  • Financial professionals who enjoy educating and advising clients

Why Consider This Opportunity?
