Compensation: up to $31/hour
Schedule: Monday - Thursday (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday OFF!)

Responsibilities
  • Deliver automotive technology instruction in classroom and lab settings.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and productive learning environment.
  • Monitor student attendance, academic progress, and performance; maintain accurate records and submit required reports.
  • Support curriculum development, course preparation, equipment maintenance, and student retention initiatives.
  • Communicate student concerns, attendance issues, and other matters requiring attention to the Program Coordinator.
  • Participate in required training, professional development, and instructor development activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by school leadership.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum three (3) years of practical automotive industry experience.

Certifications
  • ASE Certification equal to the level of classes taught (preferred).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, repair procedures, and industry safety standards.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and recordkeeping skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and instructional technology.
  • Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail and commitment to student success.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and teach both day and evening classes.
  • Commitment to completing at least 20 hours of annual technical update training.
