SS&E owns and operates the San Antonio Spurs (NBA), Austin Spurs (NBA G-League), and the San Antonio FC (USL), and manages day-to-day operations of the Frost Bank Center, Toyota Field and STAR Complex.

The Spurs Sports & Entertainment Military & Tourism Representative is designed to offer entry-level, qualified candidates the ability to receive hands-on business experience with a professional sports team. This position will be given an opportunity to work directly with the San Antonio Spurs, dealing with various aspects of the day-to-day operation including marketing, community events, game nights, and general office duties. Being in Group Sales, the employee will gain experience on the creative side and be involved in meetings where ideas and events are brainstormed and put into action.
This is a part-time position with hourly pay and up to 29 hours per week.
What You'll Do:
  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of group events and fan experiences for Spurs home games, including military and tourism groups, Courtside Experience, postgame free throws, arena tours, and other value-added activations.
  • Drive group ticket sales and revenue growth by promoting Spurs home games through off-site outreach efforts, including visits to military installations, conventions, community events, and other external sales channels.
  • Create, manage, and distribute group sales collateral, such as flyers, presentations, and promotional materials to effectively support sales initiatives and enhance event execution.
  • Perform additional duties and support cross-functional initiatives as assigned to meet organizational and departmental goals.

Who You Are:
  • Military or hospitality industry experience preferred but not required.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. (20 - 30 hours/week)
  • Strong time management skills in order to meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is necessary; Experience with ticketing systems is a plus.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • The ability to carry/move/handle boxes up to 25 lbs.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated individual.
  • Ability to work with all types of people.
  • Ability to adapt to changing projects.

Physical Requirements:
  • Standing for extended periods of time
  • Constantly walking to accomplish tasks
  • Must be able to lift/push/pull 25+ lbs.
  • Must be able to work outdoors during all types of weather conditions
  • Constant finger dexterity is required to use a computer keyboard to complete tasks.
  • Availability to work non-traditional hours, including game nights, weekends, and holidays.
