Job description

Assistant Landscape Superintendent

Location: 100% Field-Based. Skip the office cubicle—you'll be on-site daily, managing operations across your territory with a company vehicle/allowance provided.

A premier design-build firm is seeking a high-energy Assistant Landscape Superintendent to lead the installation of luxury outdoor environments. This "CEO of the Territory" role is designed for a professional who thrives on seeing complex projects through from raw land to high-end completion.

The #1 Requirement: Above all else, we are looking for an individual with relentless drive, determination, and a hardworking, dependable nature. We value a "get-it-done" attitude and the reliability to lead field operations with excellence.

2 openings covering the following areas:

North Atlanta Territory: Focused on the GA 400 corridor, including Alpharetta, Dawsonville, Cummings, and Canton.

South Atlanta Territory: Covering Stockbridge, McDonough, Griffin, Peachtree City, Tyrone, and Newnan.

The Opportunity

We are seeking high-potential talent ready for field leadership. Training will be provided. Candidates should fit one of the following two profiles:

  • Entry-Level Path: A Bachelor's degree (Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Construction Management, or related) plus 6–12 months of relevant experience or internships.

  • Junior Professional Path: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in field operations or as a Junior Superintendent.

Core Responsibilities

  • Territory Execution: Plan and direct multiple installations simultaneously, ensuring all projects hit critical completion dates.

  • Field Leadership: Supervise in-house crews and subcontractors with a strict focus on safety and professionalism.

  • Technical Oversight: Manage site grading, soil conditioning, and the layout of hardscapes (pavers, walls) and softscapes.

  • Communication: Serve as the definitive point of contact for builders and high-end homeowners.

  • Financial Stewardship: Review purchase orders and manage field expenses to ensure project profitability.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $60,000 – $75,000 + performance-based territory incentives.

  • Vehicle: Choice of a Company Truck or a monthly Car Allowance.

  • Connectivity: Full Cell Phone reimbursement.

  • Total Rewards: Premium Health/Dental/Vision, 401(k) with company match, and paid parental leave.

Essential Skills

  • Blueprint Literacy: Ability to accurately read and execute landscape design plans.

  • Problem Solving: Superior ability to resolve on-site environmental or logistical challenges.

  • Clean Record: Valid Driver's License is required.
