Description Summary
Serve as primary contact to the admissions customer relationship management (CRM) system. Perform and carry out activities related to the admissions process by providing timely and accurate processing of data for internal and external needs. Assess and implement ways to improve the prospective student experience and on-boarding process continuously.
Examples of Duties
Constant (67-100%)
  • Coordinate the process and procedure of the CRM system including applications, building communication plans, entry and follow-up for the admissions process, including inquiries, applications, HiSets, transcripts, and placement scores.
  • Maintain effective and efficient flow of communication and information through the CRM including marketing lists and recruitment events.
  • Serve as main contact with Ferrilli regarding needs for the CRM.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards for all travel in CRM.
  • Coordinate travel of recruiters.
  • Monitor information entered by staff into the CRM system.

Frequent (34-66%)
  • Communicate with IT regarding the CRM system needs.
  • Co-coordinate the campus visit experience
  • Collect, evaluate, and communicate all Admissions metrics data.
  • Evaluate campus visit feedback forms and identify areas of improvement.
  • Monitoring and updating Calendly for Campus Visits.
  • Assist with campus and group visits.
  • Assist getting information from academic and athletic departments to upload to the CRM.
  • Keep inventory of Admissions supplies, materials, t-shirts, etc.

Occasional (10-33%)
  • Train new staff on the CRM.
  • Assist with Advising walk-ins during peak enrollment periods.
  • Assist with department Social Media.
  • Assist in entering transcripts and applications during peak periods.
  • Set up letter tracks for admissions acceptance letters each semester.
  • Other duties as assigned.

1. Be able and willing to represent Iowa Central Community College in a positive manner with prospective, former, and current students, clients, suppliers, and the community we serve.
2. Must be enthusiastic and energetic individual with the ability to meet and deal effectively and courteously with College personnel and all members of the community.
3. Possess excellent abilities in organization and coordination to effectively serve in a supervisory capacity.
4. Possess excellent computer skills for the CRM, data entry and Microsoft Office Products.
5. Thorough knowledge of office methods and procedures, telephone techniques, and office equipment.
6. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruptions.
7. Ability to deal positively and effectively with high-pressure deadlines.
8. Ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and populations.
9. Ability to assume responsibility; deal effectively with problems, and exercise good judgement when making decisions.
10. Ability and desire to exercise loyalty and commitment to the department and the College as a whole.
Qualifications
Associate Degree required. Experience in the CRM system and Admissions Processes. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Must be extremely organized, have very good communication skills, and enjoy working with the public in a professional office environment.

Position involves constant (67-100%) sitting in office setting, repetitive motion while using computer terminal, and other types of close visual work; frequent (34-66%) talking to or listening to persons over the phone or in person; and occasional (10-33%) stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking and lifting up to 25 pounds.
