D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Sales & Marketing Assistant. The right candidate will support the Sales and Marketing Departments by administering various tasks and projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Assist Sales and Marketing Managers with special projects and administrative responsibilities.
  • Manage weekly Sales and Marketing projects, including updating inventory reports, maintaining digital tracking sheets, coordinating sales releases, managing pricing matrices, and ordering sales office supplies.
  • Administer brokerage-related tasks, including creating and maintaining MLS listings, processing MLS billing, and managing relationships with state and local Realtor associations.
  • Prepare materials for and assist in coordinating sales meetings.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to provide operational and administrative support as needed.
  • Support the Marketing Manager with community launch activities and additional marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain and update the D.R. Horton website to ensure accurate and current content.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within D.R. Horton's internal sales platform (DHI).
  • Develop and manage MLS listing content, including extensive copywriting and property descriptions.
  • Utilize Adobe Photoshop to resize and optimize property photography for MLS listings.
  • Apply knowledge of metadata and Meta Tags to accurately tag photos and enhance website and listing organization.
  • Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner that supports customer satisfaction, company goodwill, and profitability.
  • Work overtime as needed to meet business objectives.
  • Travel throughout communities within the South Washington market as required.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • Six months to one year of related experience and/or training
  • Must have a vehicle and a valid driver's license
  • Ability to create graphic illustrations and marketing flyers in Illustrator and Canva
  • Strong creative writing skills
  • Ability to work well within a team and individually
  • Exercise initiative and be proactive
  • Possess strong organizational skills
  • Provide attention to detail and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email, as well as Publisher, PowerPoint and Adobe Suite
  • Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision
  • The noise level is generally moderate
