• Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' mental health issues, formulate diagnoses, and collaboratively develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Deliver individual, group, and family therapy utilizing various evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness techniques.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to clients facing acute mental health crises, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including treatment notes, progress reports, and assessments, adhering to all ethical and legal requirements.
• Collaborate closely with other members of the healthcare team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for clients.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health topics, treatment options, and community resources, advocating fiercely for their needs and rights.
• Stay current with the latest developments in mental health therapy through ongoing training, workshops, and professional development opportunities.

You will be working with a diverse clientele in our community health clinic, addressing a wide array of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and family conflict. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and your role will involve adapting therapeutic approaches to meet their unique cultural and individual needs. Your work will be essential in helping clients navigate their challenges and reach their full potential.

• Must hold a valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW).
• A Master's or Doctorate degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills are essential.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in the mental health field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect and build rapport with clients.
• Self-motivated with the capability to work autonomously, as well as collaboratively within a team.
• A strong commitment to maintaining ethical and professional standards in all interactions.

• Prior experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level applicants.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and technology is an advantage.
