• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, formulating accurate clinical diagnoses and developing effective treatment plans tailored to each individual.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness-based approaches, enhancing clients' coping mechanisms.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for clients facing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and stability.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment outcomes to comply with ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists and social workers—to coordinate and improve comprehensive care for clients.
• Educate clients and their families regarding mental health issues, treatment methodologies, and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and training to stay current with best practices in mental health therapy.

The clients you'll serve at Positively Living Counseling Services encompass a wide spectrum of mental health needs, ranging from anxiety and depression to relationship issues and trauma recovery. This role requires a deep understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds, ensuring that all clients receive personalized care that respects their unique experiences and perspectives.

• Must hold a valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Colorado.
• Possess a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a relevant mental health-related field.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, demonstrating the ability to identify and address a range of mental health issues.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical mental health setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities that foster trusting client relationships.
• Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• Dedicated to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards in practice.

• Previous experience in a community health clinic or similar setting is desirable but not mandatory for entry-level roles.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms will be advantageous for managing client engagement and documentation.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. We also offer a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
