Miners Underground is thrilled to announce an exciting opening for a dedicated Cable Splicer. This full-time position is designed for individuals eager to advance their careers in a hands-on, dynamic environment. As a Cable Splicer with our team, you will not only enhance your technical skills but also contribute to critical infrastructure projects that power our community. Please note, this role requires physical presence at various project sites.

Our ideal candidate is someone ready to dive into the complexities of cable splicing, including working with fiber, coax, copper, and other cables. No previous splicing experience? No problem! We are committed to training the right individual who demonstrates a strong desire to learn and a commitment to quality workmanship. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Complete splicing of fiber, coax, copper, and other cables to finish installations correctly and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work truck and trailer to manage your splicing operations effectively.
  • Lay out projects accurately to ensure splicing is completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate closely with Project Managers on schedules, reporting, and project specifics.
  • Uphold the highest standards in maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
  • Engage in learning and applying knowledge of construction prints, splice schematics, and telecommunications network structure throughout projects.
  • Grow your skills in using advanced technological tools such as ArcGIS mapping systems for enhanced project management and execution.
Requirements
  • No prior splicing experience requiredโ€”we believe in training motivated individuals ready to learn.
  • Must have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing quality workmanship.
  • Strong organizational skills are essential to manage various facets of the jobs effectively.
