Job description

This is an opportunity to join a well-established commercial/residential roofing, siding, window, and sheet metal contractor that is located in Chicago’s Northwest suburbs.

Entry Level

Core duties include:

  • Process all new bid invites which arrive by email, or from PM’s for assignment.
  • Setup project folders in system so PM’s can access information.
  • Create a simple scope of project so PM’s can easily determine if they want to bid.
  • Process all new updates for projects such as drawing sets, addendums, bulletins, etc.
  • Process requests from PM’s regarding printing of drawings and downloading updates.
  • Keep daily log of all bids processed for assignment.
  • Take calls from general contractors inquiring if we’re bidding project or newer projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

-Proficiency with windows based operating system and Microsoft Office.

-Strong communication skills: verbal and written.
