We are seeking a qualified Contracts Management Analyst in Arlington, VA. This position is not eligible for hybrid or remote work situations. This is a 100% on-site, in-office position.
Position Description:
The selectee will perform as the Decision Technologies Entry-Level, Junior or Mid-Level Contracts Management Analyst for a US Navy Weapons Engineering and Program Acquisition Support contract.
YOU MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR A DOD SECRET CLEARANCE
Responsibilities
• Assist the Government to draft procurement-related documents in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations and associated supplements and DOD 5000 series requirements.
• Assist in the administration of contracts, to include preparation of Procurement Requests, Modification Requests, and Technical Direction Letters/Technical Instructions.
• Collect, review, and analyze information in order to make recommendations to the Government. Define the nature and extent of problems. Analyze relevant data, which may include financial expenditures, contracts, employment, or legislation.
• In the course of preparing recommendations, understand the nature of the organization, the relationship it has with others in the Government, and its internal organization and culture.
• Report findings and recommendations to the Government through written reports, briefs, and oral presentations.
Required Qualifications
• Entry-Level: Some education in pursuit of a business or contracts careers.
• Junior-Level: 1-3 years' experience as a contracts or program analyst
• Mid-Level: 4-7 years' experience as a contracts or program analyst for a Government program office
Desired Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in business, Policy, Finance, or related discipline
• Direct experience as a contracts or program analyst with NAVSEA or PEO IWS program offices.
• An active SECRET clearance
• Knowledge and experience referencing and analyzing DoD 5000 legislation, the FAR, and the DFARS
• Experience working with contracts and acquisition documentation for ACAT-1/2/3 acquisition programs.
• Ability to work effectively with team members and subcontractors from various technical, acquisition, and administrative disciplines
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to develop and deliver coherent and concise customer presentations
Travel Requirements:
• Limited travel requirements (<10%)
