Job description

C&M Dredging Inc. - Travel Position (Southeast U.S.)

C&M Dredging is seeking motivated Construction Laborers and Shoremen to support dredging and marine construction projects across Florida and the Southeast.
This is a travel-based position working on dredging crews performing shoreline restoration, canal dredging, and marine construction.
We provide 100% paid travel and lodging plus daily per diem.

Requirements

         Perform general labor duties supporting dredging and marine construction operations

         Assist with dredge pipeline setup, movement, and maintenance

         Perform pressure washing, site cleanup, and equipment maintenance

         Assist operators and crew with tools, materials, and project setup

         Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas

         Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures

         Communicate regularly with the foreman and superintendent

         Support additional construction and project needs as directed

Qualifications

         Entry-level and experienced candidates welcome

         Experience in construction, marine work, landscaping, or heavy labor preferred

         Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

         Must be authorized to work in the United States

         Valid driver's license required

         Must be able to complete tasks with and without direct supervision

         Must be open to working out of town for up to 45 days at a time, including some weekends and holidays

         Equipment operating experience is a plus

Physical & Environmental Requirements

         Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs

         Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods

         Must be comfortable working on or around water, including barges, boats, and dredging equipment

         Ability to stand, bend, climb, and walk for long periods

         Comfortable working in muddy, wet, and uneven terrain

         Ability to work extended hours during active projects, typically up to 80-85 hours per week, including weekends
