Job Summary:
As a Ground Hand, you will support construction crews by performing manual labor tasks and assisting Linemen with the preparation, movement, and installation of materials and equipment. You will help maintain safe and efficient job site operations while learning foundational skills for career progression in line construction. In this role, your customers are Congruex field construction teams, and you will contribute to project success through teamwork, safety, and operational support.

Key Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
• Assist Linemen with loading, unloading, organizing, and preparing tools, materials, and equipment at job sites
• Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, tamping, cutting brush, cleaning trucks, and moving materials as directed
• Support traffic control and maintain safe work zone operations
• Operate or assist with company vehicles and equipment when required
• Maintain awareness of unsafe conditions and take appropriate corrective actions
• Support physically demanding construction activities in outdoor environments
• Additional responsibilities within functional scope based on business needs

Required Qualifications:

Education, Licensing, and Certifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license required; Class A preferred
• OSHA 10 certification required

Experience
• Entry-level construction or utility field experience preferred
• Experience in outdoor labor-intensive environments is a plus
