The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are currently seeking aConstructionProject Engineerto join our team as a member of ourgrowing Data Center Innovations divisioninAustin, TX.You will be joining an established and diverse group of people where you will be able to make an immediate impact. • Supporting Request for Proposal (RFP) and procurement processes.
• Tracking current and future jobs while also projecting future staffing requirements.
• Reviewing contracts, drawings, specifications, and other resources to answer questions.
• Coordinating equipment procurement with the purchasing department and outside vendors to order andexpeditematerial.
• Assistingin the development of Scope of Work for subcontractors.
• Coordinating job set-up, site mobilization, project administration, and closeout.
• Overseeing the scheduling and coordination of trades.
• Coordinating the McKinstry scope of work with the project drawings and specifications.
• Assistingin preparationofJob Start and Project Closeout project binders and meeting materials.
• Assistingin the preparation of monthly financial reporting.
• Communicating with Architect, Engineer, and Owner, toassistthe Project Manager with daily duties or act as Project Manager.

• Asnecessarycoordinating field activities of self-performed and subcontracted work.

What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry:

• Abilityto read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, proposals, estimates, and other regularlyencountereditemsrequired.
• BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, FacilitiesManagementor comparable degree-or equivalent work experiencerequired.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel,Outlookand Projectrequired; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
• Customer serviceandoroffice administration experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is$29.55 - $48.89per hour; however,basepay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is considered non-exempt and will be paid hourly. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits,dependenton the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
