Job description

Structural Steel, Miscellaneous Iron, and Stair Contractor, in business over 100 years, is seeking an in-house employee to work as a laborer in our fabrication shop and steel yard.

Experience is preffered by not required. This role involves manual labor tasks such as material handling, equipment operation, and tool maintenance. There is no travel requirement for this position, and opportunities exist for advancement into skilled trades for motivated individuals.

Responsibilities

Upon hire, membership in Ironworkers Union Local 852 is required. Fee to join the union is $100. Monthly union dues of $60 are also required.
Starting Salary is $20.00 per hour with overtime paid at a rate of time and one half for all hours worked beyond forty hours. After a designated waiting period benefits included medical coverage and an annuity plan. The position also offers paid holidays as well as paid vacation and sick time after a waiting period.
